We went back to CT for my 45th high school class reunion. It’s always fun to go back to the Northeast to visit family and friends, but every time I go back, I am reminded just how little people used to travel from their homes.
I lived about 30 miles from Mystic throughout my childhood, but never visited until yesterday. This is an amazing “town,” although it actually belongs to the surrounding towns. The highlight is Mystic Seaport which is the largest maritime museum in the U.S.
